"Best" is subjective. I like Signal because it has a great modern UI so I can pretty easily get non techy/privacy people using it.

I use it on my phone and my wife's. I would like to get a Pixel tab too with Graphene. There is no other phone OS like it and it's open source. I have had Lineage on an old phone and on a tablet currently and while it's nice, GrapheneOS just works amazingly. I've also briefly tried Calyx but it had various small issues that Graphene doesn't.

Did you sign up with a VPN turned on? Are you always using a VPN and private DNS? You could also use a voice changer.

It's designed just for tablet, not phones. Maybe the old tablets can't run it well enough, I'm not sure

Why are you annoyed by Paypal and Venmo? What do you want changed? KYC and these companies having control of your money is common on all these everyday platforms. If you want a real change you need to use self custodial non-KYC crypto currencies.

I don't know personally as I don't have a FW13. I would like one. I just have experience with the other stuff. Look on the FW forums, it's quite active.

Maybe the Framework 13. I'd suggest an AMD APU. Something with the 7840U/HS or the 8840U/HS. It's iGPU is very potent. Use the Bazzite OS and OnlyOffice with Microsoft fonts installed is a fantastic MS Office alternative.

I recently built an AMD based gaming computer with Bazzite and it works fantastically. I have found that atomic distros from Fedora just work, and Bazzite makes gaming super simple

Mint feels dated to me after using KDE Plasma 6 (which is now my favorite)

I find most people don't know of the alternatives but they are open to change as they are unhappy with current options that they are aware of. I've talked with a few people that were surprisingly open to to trying Linux. They didn't know how easy it is to use and install but jumped on the opportunity as they were unhappy with Windows.

PS. I've been using Mint for around 2yrs but after recently messing around with Fedora Kinoite and Bazzite both with Plasma it really shows how dated Mint is. Fedora with Plasma is sooo modern and filled with great features.

For movie streaming if you have subscriptions to the big names you can use Kodi and still login to your streaming service.

It's also unethical that they steal your data and keep upping prices and injecting ads so it's equally ethical to stream pirated content via Kodi
