  • You're welcome. The lumens will add a great flood of light but if you also have a light with over 10,000 candela it will be incredibly intense. I have a Nitecore with close to 1,000 lumen but a pretty low candela (I forget how low) and I can kind of look towards it while squinting. On the other hand I have a light with 350 lumen but nearly 10,000 candela and it pains me to look towards it. Might help with the blinding Gandalf effect

  • I believe Kingston has the fastest and smallest USB drive out there. I've never had an anker product that lasts long but Belkin seems to be good to me. I pick my WiFi routers based on what is supported by OpenWRT. Nitecore makes great batteries and chargers. My Caldigit dock is fantastic

  • Epax is a non Chinese brand (USA) that still isn't as expensive as Prusa and from what I have learned is that it's a good company with a good product. I'm not necessarily looking for something cheap, just not extremely expensive to me. I don't want a Chinese based company's product with lots of technology having access to my network in my house.

  • I just did a brief look at Epax and it looks like something I might be very interested in. The full price E10 8k is potentially a doable price point but they also sell a refurbished E10 8k for a great price. They are also supported on UVtools. I just have to do a little more research but they look promising.

  • That's super awesome! Great job. I didn't know there was a wood type of filament. That's really interesting. If you ever do a version two checkout Nitecore flashlights. They are super bright, great quality, and some have USB-C charging which could possibly make it easier to charge depending on your design.

  • Except for that Michael Bazzell is the gold standard for living a private and secure life and he values her opinion and insights enough that he had her speak on his podcast. Michael Robertson has nothing to do with this topic.

  • Many people drive drunk and injure people but people don't stop driving because of one way the vehicle can be used for bad. Sure, JWB is associated with the phrase but the Latin phrase can also stand on it's own merits too. I'm not a supporter of JWB in any way.
