Did you know that liquid at 150F can cause 3rd degree burns in 2 seconds? This was 200F, 133% hotter than liquid that can cause 3rd degree burns in 2 seconds. The woman, who it would behoove you to recall was elderly, was sitting down, buckled in, wearing jeans.

Please, explain to me how, in this scenario, you would suggest that an elderly woman remove her now-scalding jeans in 2 seconds or less.

Edit for more information, an adult human will suffer 3rd degree burns if exposed to 150F (65.5C) liquid for two seconds. This was 133% hotter than liquid that will cause 3rd degree burns. And it was poured directly in her lap, soaked into cloth that she could not easily remove. This was straight up evil levels of negligent.

They could be, but they aren't. The woman literally had her labia fused together from the burn and just wanted them to pay for her fucking surgery.

My local grocery recently took away the option to shut up the machine. It's been about month and I am still furious every time I go in there. Don't fucking talk to me, if I wanted to talk I'd go through the line with an actual human. Let me be a misanthrope in fucking PEACE.

They're frightened of everything the other commenter mentioned, but they forgot something: they're frightened that, if "their team" loses power, they will get treated the way they've been treating "the other team" for ages. The grifters know they're lying when they spew their shit, but their followers believe it because it's what they've already done, just in reverse.

"Liberals want to destroy Christianity" is believable because xians have tried their damnedest for nearly 2 thousand years to destroy other religions. "The transgenders want to force all children to change gender" is believable because they've spent decades forcing children into their view of gender, and killing, torturing, or raping them if they don't conform. "Gays want to outlaw heterosexual marriage" is believable because they outlawed gay marriage for ages. "Minorities want to force white people into labor camps" is believable because slavery.

They believe that everyone thinks exactly like them, and they can't fathom that some people want everyone to be happy. They think we're lying when we say that, putting on a front to lull them into a false sense of security just so we can pull the rug out from under them. Because it's what they would do, given the opportunity. And they're terrified of it being turned around on them.

Edit for clarity - and those other things, the vaccines, the healthcare, etc etc, may seem unrelated, but it all comes down to making sure "the other team" doesn't get any "wins". Because if "the other team" wins, that's one step closer to their team losing, and one step closer to "the other team" being able to enact all those horrible policies against them instead of in their favor.

A couple of other posters have touched on it, but it largely comes down to religious bullshit. American evangelicals strongly believe in the end times prophecy, and Jerusalem being in the hands of the Jewish people is a major factor. Beyond that, the bible states that god gave Jerusalem to the Jewish people in perpetuity, and so anything that preserves "god's will" in that respect must therefore be Good.

If you think the majority of landlords built homes with the kindly intention to rent them I have a bridge to sell you. Most independent landlords are renting out old, half decrepit houses they bought on auction and "refurbished" (poorly, with substandard materials and usually by themselves, not using skilled contractors), and many landlord companies are owned by non-native entities that siphon money from our economy to their own countries while jacking up rents and keeping the working class as poor as possible.

On that's easy, it's because he's still on Putin's good side.

As to why no one has... encouraged him into any other "mysterious accident", though, your guess is as good as mine.

That's because he refuses to exercise, like, at all. He thinks humans have a finite amount of energy to use in their lives and exercise is just "needlessly draining the battery".

Some people don't care about the flavor of their coffee, only how much of a buzz it can give them and how quickly. Either that or they've been conditioned by Starbucks marketing to think that stale, burned coffee actually tastes good.

Oh, I completely agree he will be far more dangerous dead than alive. Particularly because they won't struggle to control him anymore. I wasn't suggesting it should go that way... More suggesting that I can easily see it happening. On purpose. Specifically so that they can control the narrative.

Unless he has an "attack of conscience" and "commits suicide". Inside a guarded cell. Where he's being watched 24/7.

Edit: honestly, I'm curious about the downvotes. Do people think I'm suggesting this is a thing that should happen? I think this would honestly be the worst possible result. And, call me a pessimist, but that's why I'm afraid of it happening. They'll be able to control him and his cult much better with him dead than alive.
