If a politician was very vocal about the evils of Dungeons and Dragons and it was revealed that he regularly played CRPGs, would the media call the resulting scandal Baldursgate?

  • It doesn't work. You can still always tell the kids who have new uniforms vs those who had to buy second hand, or those who have designer backpacks or shoes from those who have Walmart versions. The rich kids who were raised to be assholes will still find something to look down on the poor kids about. Best friend was stuck in private school for years and hated it because of this.

  • Moises is an app that isn't directly intended for making karaoke versions of songs, but you could use it for that purpose. It separates songs out into their parts (guitar, keys, vocals, drum, etc) using assistive AI. You get a few free songs but you have to pay a subscription for more than that.

    There's also StarMaker but you're limited to the catalog they have and it's definitely got some dark pattern design. Can be a bit fun but I deleted it pretty quickly.

  • Yeah, I get autoimmune vasculitis from time to time when I have a rheumatoid arthritis flare up and it looks very similar to this (although mine is never this bad because I take meds, like holy shit that guy must be in ridiculous amounts of pain and needs to get on some medication right fuckin now)

  • Agreed. Wellington is a fun thing to try (both eating and making) but the effort required does not equal the result. My husband and I made one for my dad's birthday last year and while it was fun, we will probably never go through all that effort again short of a very, very good reason.

    Edit - yours looks great, though!
