Carnivorous Squirrels Documented in California

  • Easy, make humans larger and fill in the extra space with only more kidney! This could make kidney transplants more intricate though...guess we just send all the salt to the sun!

  • It can definitely make a space elevator for ants!

  • Sounds like to do the gig as they intend you'd have to be strung out. Wild story, thanks for sharing!

  • Right!! It's painfull to already know the reason is "the shareholders" aka them and their friends. Even more ridiculous is how they're all already stupid rich...

  • Research is all about assessing a single variable and this was accomplished within this study, “the MCR procedure involved four phases: spontaneous baseline (no mobile movement), an uncoupled reactive phase (experimenter triggered mobile movement), tethered phase (tethered foot triggered mobile response), and untethered phase (tethered foot is disconnected and mobile is stationary).” There's also data demonstrating it was much more than just a positive feedback loop highlighted in the research, “the tethered phase peak rate does not represent a set point in time during the tethered phase across infants. Rather, it is a measure of activity across a time window comparable to other time samples (1 min) reflecting maximum activity during the tethered phase across infants. This step allowed peak rate to be compared to movement rates of other experimental phases.” The findings weren't just based on a hey look, they smiled data point. If you dig into the data collection, “the magnitudes of various multidimensional velocity vectors (i.e., between the two feet, between the trigger foot and the mobile, and between the unconnected foot and mobile) were cross-covaried across the first minute of each phase for each infant using the aforementioned method to obtain Pearson r values. Differences between experimental phases were tested using repeated measures ANOVAs.” As a fellow researcher, it seems apparent this displays more than just a positive feedback loop according to the methods and procedures utilized in the study. To write this off as nothing more than a positive feedback loop means your conclusion was drawn before assessing how the information was collected and evaluated.

  • They're using horizontal gene transfer, which bacteria already use to hook their homies up with certain traits, to make them reproduce faster plus also make an enzyme that breaks down plastic. It's highly controlled and super specific, it's been a going on since the 1980's and we're still good lol

  • The lynx launcher has been my go to, they advertise as "Sleek - Fast - Unobtrusive" and have zero trackers according to Exodus. Not 100% if they're FOSS but I love the launcher and here's their website: https://www.lynxlauncher.de/

  • Ohhh, that makes way more sense, it's been a long day. Ya, I only heard this from this article so I'm not too sure what's really going on with that layer to it.

  • Truly, I just create a PDF from Libre to ensure formating to send off and no one has ever said a word about it.

  • Good thing the only constant is change then ah? Progression, not perfection, is the end goal.

  • It could just be me, but I dig disroots outlook. They're a privacy-focused platform ran by volunteers in it for what seems to be all the right reasons. While on the other hand, I can't tell you much about the other public SearXNG instance options.

  • I moved away from Brave Search when they went 2+ months only offering Google or Bing for their image searches. I can strongly recommend digging into https://search.disroot.org though!

  • Plastic best be mindful and leave room for the PFAS to join in on the fun!

  • This for me is the biggest privacy issue. The FBI having contracts which allow them to turn on and collect whatever data certain device can acquire, its fully bonkers. These contracts focus on massively sold devices. iPhones, Androids, along with Samsung TV's have all been caught in the same mess. So I'd say keep searching for a TV until you find one which fits your threat model. They want you to give and buy a Samsung TV, so fuck em and keep on keepin on!

  • Oh, well it possibility could be available in your contact information in Teams, so just use benign words that still have a subtle connection to you I'd say.

  • I just setup a new Windows 10 VM this morning and it was the first time I was not able to skip making a Microsoft account. So I just used an email alias and then instantly paused the email address after receiving the verification code. Regarding your uncertainty around what seems to be Microsoft having access to the email inbox somehow, I can't see how that'd be possible unless the email is maintained by them or you decided to use Outlook. Use a burner email and make sure it's only provided for the Teams account and you'll be in a much better place than most Teams users.

  • If you're concerned about human rights, why gloss over the US being notorious for human rights abuse? They have the largest prison population ever, comprised primarily of minorities who were obscenely experimented on during MK Ultra. Plus the prior and current treatment of Native Americans or the 6,000,000+ innocent citizens killed in the war on terror. The US is no longer even classified as a first world country. But it doesn't matter cause the news said the US is definitely the best choice for the world police.

Are you for bombing Mexico to stop the opioid crisis too? While the idea is gaining traction stateside, it takes minutes to understand of the 14,000+ pounds of fentanyl seized at the Mexican boarder in 2022, over 90% was from US citizens. But logic is totally overrated when it comes to international law I guess.

  • So first, the US having military bases surrounding China is tied into why they disagree with their neighbors. They allowed the US on the boarder so it makes sense they aren't stoked about it. The US has at least 750 military bases around the world in 80 countries. The next closest country has 145 bases and thats the UK. If we want to reference imperialism, then starting with the US is the most practical based on this alone.

In addition, only 12 countries consider Taiwan as an independent country. Regardless if this is correct, the actions the US has recently taken with Taiwan is without question increasing tension in an already tense situation.

Furthermore, following the numbers on the Uyghur women being forced to have contraception implants would mean each woman has 8 impants. This makes absolute zero sense. The fact the US media's primary source on the Uyghur situation is an outright lunatic does help make it all add up though.

All in all, it takes two to tango for sure. Yet the US seeing it's global power drastically decline makes their moves less obfuscated and vividly more desperate.
