we told them this would happen while they were both sidesing trump and the republican magats for the last 8 years, we told them if they kept down peddling the republican threat to civil liberties and the rule of law, one of the first things they'd do is restrict the free press, and eventually turn their lights off. media decided they wanted to gorge on views for ad revenue instead, catering to the lowest common denominator. and now it comes to pass.

dude, the line ended on january 20th, and so far the judicial refuses to hold the executive in contempt, there is no functioning constitutional law (the thing that all other laws in the united states are based on), we freeballin dictatorship, the only guarantee is suffering and pain. forever.

I do not hold with this, at all. After leaving Twitter two years ago, and going to Mastodon, and Mbin, when the world started to come to an end three weeks ago, when Trump flipped to making the US and ally of Russia against the world, I needed to be plugged in, so with years of reservations against supporting anything fucking Jack was involved in (he's still the largest single shareholder of bluesky stock, so fuck off telling me he stepped away from the board), I finally signed up for Bluesky, because when shit is going down, I don't need to be browsing some lefty tankie currated community for realtime news, I need to be jacked in to the widest collective there is, so I can parse and disseminate information for every source possible.

Every hour there's a different news story saying musk said send the emails, then this office said don't worry, then trump said send the email, then another office said dont, then another office said send cryptic because any communications needs to be seen as being disseminated to enemy foreign actors. yeah, i wouldn't want to be a federal employee anytime in the next couple decades.
