any sort of power, they have it ALL now, because not enough Democrats figured it was important enough to simply cast a vote in Novembers election. more arab and latino americans voted for donald trump than have ever voted for any republican candidate before in american history. leftists told anyone that would listen they weren't going to vote for "genocide joe" while marching on every major american city chanting "from the river to the sea", while flooding social media with anti israel and anti democratic party messaging, the result of which was democratic youth vote was the lowest it's ever been in american history, while republican youth vote was the highest it's ever been. with everything on the line democratic youth couldn't find it within themselves to defend the republic, by doing the lowest effort simplest action by casting a ballot in a safe, free, and fair election. donald trump won his second term as president by ~2.3% of the vote.

This is all a source of mockery, except for the families and loved ones of the 67 people blown out of the sky last week, they're a little pissed off at the moment. In the last election The Executive Branch (Presidency), The Legislative Branch (Both houses of Congress) had their control swing Republican, couple that with Trump having already packed The Judicial Branch (The Supreme Court) with a Republican majority, and that's the whole ball game.

Trump's actions aren't justified by Kompromat on this level, they're only justified by plain willingness. I don't know if the upside for Trump is that he sees things getting so bad, he can then in the 3rd year remove all the tarriffs thereby flooding the US economy with new growth to justify a 3rd terms, or what, but this is way way beyond fear of being "outted" by Putin for anything all, this is pure unadulterated destruction for it's own sake. The Kompramat idea justifies small moves like cutting off Ukraine, it doesn't justify 25% tarrifs for Canada and shutting down USAID. I think it's safe to say at this point Trump is doing all of this to bolster Russia, but it's not because he's being threatened, it's because in his small fascist mind, it will benefit him, his kids, and his friends in some way.
