  • Fair enough, I'll be the first to admit that it takes work in order to use it. I'll give two reasons. One is a monetary, and one is not.

Reason 1: If we are right, and 15 years of data shows we at least have a point, then you would be an early adopter and very likely end up very wealthy.

Reason 2: You can buy anything from anyone, anywhere, in the world at any time without permission. And it's guaranteed to be irreversible in 20 minutes.

  • Well now you know two people who use crypto and I use it as money. I don't speculate on it. I buy my groceries and pay my cell phone bill and pay my insurance with it. I recently bought a Taylor Swift album with it as well.

  • Gratuitas.org sells premium grade coffee for Monero. You can also look at monerica.com. There are absolutely tons of legitimate businesses that accept crypto. Actually, when it comes right down to it, it makes a whole lot of sense to accept crypto because the transaction fees are so damn low that businesses save a ton of money over credit card transactions.

  • Who knows, commercial fusion power might actually be less than 50 years away now. LOL.

Edit: Do keep in mind that this stuff doesn't have to be the efficiency of the Sun because the Sun is actually quite inefficient and takes millions of years for the heat to get from the core where it is fused out into the galaxy. They have to be hotter than the temperature of the Sun and more efficient.

  • Price Crypto at the one-year simple moving average, and the volatility stops. I personally use crypto all the time and make my budget using the one-year simple moving average and it completely eliminates the issue with the volatility because that average takes a very long time to move.

  • My guess is because they did all the pirating for you so you didn't have to worry about dealing with the technical hurdles of doing so.

If a service like this came around that allowed me to pay with Monero and did not require any personally identifiable information, I would totally fucking use it.

  • It's sad that these people got taken down. Maybe the next people to do it will do it from a country that does not have extradition with the United States, so they would be safe.

Edit: As for payment providers attempting to take such a service down, Monero would be the answer to this.

  • I feel like this already exists and is called a rape whistle. Although, to be fair, I'm honestly not sure how effective that would be. If a woman is being attacked, would she have time to actually blow this whistle?

  • The geomagnetic field is weakening which is common during these kinds of episodes and eventually the polarity of the magnetic field will flip so that north becomes south and vice versa. During the transition though we are likely to go from our bipolar magnetic field to a quadrupolar magnetic field where the north and south poles can fluctuate between two different points each instead of the normal single point. You can see evidence of this occurring in geological history through Ignatius rock, as it cools from volcanic eruptions.
