Is there a chance we can loosen up the rules a bit here? I understand why its needed on reddit, but its pretty dead here with the rules so tight.

Looks just as clunky as the rest of discord. Sorry, its just not the same.

I'm here, but all my niche communities are still there. Hopefully they see the light.

I like podcast republic. Lots of control.

I don't know. The big impact drills are loud AF. I actually like using my non-impact one more because its so much quieter.

In a way it's a return to form. The technical comminuty side of reddit was just a modern message board. Lemmy will return the power to the communities instead of relying on one company.

I used to used Makita, but when they changed the battery to make it incompatible I switched to Ryobi. Cheaper tools means more tools for me.

Make sure to require immediate payment and do buy it now. Competing sellers will place bad bids on your item and you waste 2 weeks. Other than that and fees its fine.

Even that I'd rather sub to a subreddit or something. And the comments below a post are so terrible, since they are algorithm driven instead of votes.

I'll never understand this style of social media. Facebook I hate, but kind of get, hearing from people you know. Reddit, was just a big message board. But twitter and its copy cats have zero appeal to me. Following people is just a creepy concept for me.

As amazing as proton is, Linux will never have 100% parity with Windows because developers and studios can block it. Honestly most games that don't run right now are intentionally blocked or restricted. If you are interested on what its like though I would strongly encourage throwing Linux on a spare drive or partition and installing steam.

Answers to tech problems aren't what drive reddits profits. They make way more in daily posts and memes. Deleting helpful comments hurts users way more than reddit.

Nope the 8 is basically 150x70. Basically a taller S23. Zenfone wins out for me, even though I prefer smaller.
