  • He’s the kind of guy who’ll retire when his car is not competitive anymore. I think he’ll try to change teams when Red Bull isn’t capable of winning races anymore and if the new team is still same old story he’ll retire from F1 and do sim-racing full time. He’s definitely gonna race in Le Mans 24.

I do hope he got bored enough so he’ll try to get the triple crown of racing.

  • Well I’ll be damned.

Text for my screen reader using friends.

Me: What is the I in LLM stands for?

Gemini: The "I" in LLM doesn't stand for anything. LLM stands for Large Language Model.

  • I’m currently dual booting and still uses Windows for gaming since I tried gaming on Linux and I basically got around half the FPS that I usually got on Windows (I have Nvidia GPU). I think I’ll fully migrate when I upgrade to an AMD GPU sometime in the future.

  • Sorry for the late reply, to answer your question is based on my discussion with them regarding their content creation is that they view it as a job now. At first, they worked their ass of producing content. But now they got their own team that helps with content creation. The niche that they're focusing are enjoyable enough but it can lead to parasocial relationships with their followers. It's been to the point that if they have to wear the typical sunglasses + mask + hoodie in order to remain incognito in public.

Luckily they understood that content creating is not a permanent job and has been saving and investing their money so that they can retire a la Pewdiepie.

  • On the other hand we have Brandon Sanderson with 20 year roadmap and consistent release coupled with all the secret novels that he wrote.

I have this sneaking suspicion that he has this black magic power to suck all the creative will of writers, including GRRM and Patrick Rothfuss.

  • No thanks. I'm good.

  • I’ve been testing the taste from human too. So far the best tastes are from Bruma or Winterfell. Each has its own unique taste. I suspect this is caused by the local climate the people lived in.

  • Yep, a close friend of mine managed to be an established content creator with brand deals. I won't go into specifics as it's quite easy to extrapolate who the person are, but many people that are our mutual friends already started to think that “If [redacted] can manage to be a content creator then I must too” and started to clout chase.

  • I love having an analog clock. It makes it feel like you have more time compared to a digital clock, making me more relaxed. For example, if the time is 12:34 PM, my subconscious will think, "Ahh, shit, 26 more minutes before 1 PM." But with an analog clock, I read it as around half an hour before 1 PM. The visual representation also helps, like seeing that there is a distance that the hands need to travel to reach a certain time.

All in all, I very much prefer having analog clocks vs digital when given the chance.

  • I just tried the free option (bitwarden) and then migrated to Proton to use all of their apps. TOTP support is also an added bonus for the Proton Pass since Authy has fucked off a cliff.

  • Yeah, it's a pretty good series. It was based on a novel AND they managed to get the novel writer to be the Showrunner. It's a double edged sword too, based on the discussions that I've read, all of the criticisms for the novel also applies to the series as it's a very faithful adaptation.

  • Yea, but the recent plans like monetizing some of the subreddits already broke several of the communities that I still like to lurk on reddit like r/formuladank and r/trustull where the mods clamped down on the unhinged people that made the subreddit in order to make the sub more advertiser friendly.
