  • With handheld PCs' resurgence, iGPUs are getting recognition. With my handheld PC, I can easily play most PC games, barring the latest AAA games, on it. It has basically transformed the way I play video games, and it is powered by a 12 CU RDNA 3 iGPU. I was blown away when it could play 2010s games at ultra settings, 1080p, 60 fps with just a 10-watt configured TDP.

Especially the latest Ryzen HX395. It's an APU with a 40 CU RDNA iGPU. I think the current development is going on that direction.

  • After installing the game on Lutris or Heroic I can just add it to Steam and then launch the game directly from steam. In terms of UX I just need to press the play button, wait a little bit and then see the game main menu. Sometimes you see other launchers but there's a lot of games that have their own launcher before launching the game, Fallout 4? Nixxes ported games?

I don't know what anything else that you want. Even on Windows same shit still happens.

  • I want to move to Linux but the value proposition for game pass is too damn good, I haven't bought games the last 3 years because the last 5 games that I bought all got into game pass. It's like they have this one executive that has the same taste as me.

I'll stick with windows for gaming (sadly) until my financial situation improves ಥ‿ಥ

  • It's like a bouncing ball, social media starts small, and then it became bigger. It's trending on becoming small again. In the future (barring civilization ending war/calamity) it'll become big again due to some technological progress or shift in society.
