some terminals have 2 or even 3 cameras pointed at you, displaying on the screen so you know for sure they don't trust you. they're probably scanning your face nowadays too so they track individual purchase history

Wow, at the start of this comment i thought you were just being overly negative, but one by one, each point crushed me a little more. it's so sad what's become of this once great little product. The special power supply is a complete and total deal breaker for so many reasons. that eliminated so many use cases for me. And the lack of a standard hdmi port (or even usb c video output) is just the shtty cherry on top.

but why? It makes software installation easy. You constantly angry nerds are a huge part of the reason Linux doesn't have more popularity. There's literally nothing wrong with flatpaks for the average user

texture work. you can generate seamless repeating textures pretty quickly

you're always sending and receiving data, that's why it's illegal the whole time. That's what the little tab that says "ratio" is measuring, the ratio of hownmuch your uploading vs downloading. Afaik it's pretty much impossible to use p2p file sharing without participating in spreading the files
