I would deploy the whole app over k8s Helm charts and I would want to use the CI/CD tools and also do Traefik/Ingress for load balancing and having cloudflare point at it. In the future I might be collaborating with other people so I would want the architecture to be solid.
I would actually want to use it to integrate with k8s. I would deploy the app on Kubernetes and do load balancing + pointing at a Cloudflare domain so I would need the whole thing to be solid. I think I do need a lot of the features, but I don't think I necessarily need to have GitLab if something FOSS could offer the same.
Thanks! This looks actually really interesting. Did you try doing CI/CD with it? In future I would probably collaborate with others who'd be also using my self-hosted Git. What would be critical for me is that I can set it up in a way that once I open a PR that branch automatically gets deployed to a dev Kubernetes environment and when I merge with main that it automatically deploys to staging and only when I release a tag the branch would end up in prod. Also I'd like to do secrets management over the platform. I like that Forgejo would be non-commercial and I would prefer it over GitLab if it can do these things well.

What exactly they hand over I can’t tell you, it might be harmless. In the case that they revealed they used push notifications data to identify a pedophile who was using some encrypted messaging service. I hope he gets what he deserves but for us it means we shouldn’t trust anything that uses Apple‘s or Google‘s push notification servers.

On that I couldn’t agree more with you. Politics have always been sad but imo nowadays our politicians aren’t only by and large bad people (nothing new here), but they’re also terribly incompetent with no visions, no values, but all the confidence in the world on the other hand…
She deserves the criticism, in 16 years she managed to pause time in Germany which is impressive but also created this illusion that that country can forever remain stuck in the 80s and everything will be fine by just doing things the way they have always been done.
That and maintaining the dependence on dictatorships for their energy infrastructure. And the absolutely vindictive policies against Greece which fucked the country badly.
She deserves respect for opening the borders to refugees, I applaud her for that and I wish there would have been more courageous politicians like her, but that doesn’t mean as a politician she was good for Europe in general.
Thing is, if I want to run around naked the whole day I want to be able to do that. If I come home absolutely shitfaced at 8am I don’t want my parents to comment on that. If I want to have loud sex I want to be able to do that. It used to be normal but it absolutely sucks to have no privacy and I don’t want to go back to that as a grown up.
This is only a matter of time, tipping culture got out of hand… I can already see the judgmental look in her face when I press 25% instead of 100%. I will be more careful when she tells me next time that she wants just the tip.
