  • As funny as this is, the populist right is on the rise across europe too

Sweden having the SD in their government, germany looking at the AfD getting a shot at coalition..

All that to say our far right (I think right of the dems) are also real and threatening democracy across the continent

  • Been playing a bunch of stuff lately! Still deeply in love with Caves of Qud, a modern (ish, 14y of development) rpg in the classic rogue format. A true rogue like. Beautiful music, cool setting..

I got a steam deck so couch-compatible games like Cobalt Core, Get to Work and Enter the Gungeon.

Besides that, the usual rounds of Tarkov, and some Delta Force to try it out post release

  • Thats what i mean, we just don't know. I want to believe that he's not the guy but i won't act like its a fact.

Could be that he wanted to get the evidence out of town to dispose it. Could be that hes a dummy. Could be that police is planting it all on a rando that some grampa called in.

    We dont fuckin know.

  • So the whole "perfect crime" I don't get.
They tracked a lot of his movement via street cameras by now, so while he did a really good job, he's also not infallible. He left behind his backpack with a jacket and the monopoply money which is hilarious but incredibly risky. They did also pull some trash and a phone he may have dropped right?
there's also a world where maybe he's either a rich kid with a sense of self-righteousness and just wants to get his manifesto out, OR where he's a bumbling idiot, or mentally unstable even, which would lead to irrationable moves like keeping the suppressor and gun on him.
There are so many variables to this, it's silly to immediately put on the tinfoil hat.

See what develops, see the facts present themselves as this goes on, and draw a logical conclusion once there's enough.

  • Yeah couple of options here:

    • he's the guy but is irrational, mentally whatever and not the calculated genius the online hype has built him up to be
    • he's the guy and intentionally got himself caught / planned to give himself up for a variety of possible reasons (acting as a public figure, mental instability, guilt, sense of righteousness/justice idk)
    • he's not the guy and the information on the gun and ID is false or misrepresented
    • he's not the guy but a whole slew of planted evidence, fake/exaggerated reporting etc make him out to be the guy, which imo seems like the most conspiracy-nutty take. not saying it's not possible but it seems the least likely.
  • Fucking digging through the "person of interest"'s social media account, all but doxxing his entire life without any confirmation that he's the guy.
    Sensationalist shitrag

Why even bring up random gifs from a github repo??

  • Is that iust americans being used to arbitrary speed limits meaning signs EVERYWHERE?

Where I live, its 50 in towns, 100 outside of towns. Meaning there will only be signs when it's not the default for some reason, like a school zone, road work etc.
