Just curious, has anyone actually tried the discord? Where does it take you?

I actually only got one today for the very first time. I was insulted it took her so long to get to me, so I wrote this

We saw a brief similar traffic spike approximately an hour ago, but it dropped off pretty quick. It seemed to focus on our mlmym front end and briefly overloaded our backends for a minute.

All the suspicious ips I've checked so far, are owned by chinese cloud providers (huawei, alibaba, tencent, etc)

No it won't. That's the next major release, this is just LW catching up.

You could fire up wireshark and see if and when the traffic is actually originating from your PC, then it's just a matter of turning off extensions.

If it's not firefox, a tool like lsof will be helpful to see what pid is connecting out.

Pretty long. I went about a year on mostly soylent. The newer formulations are a lot easier on the digestive system.

That's not how I read this, this seems to be suspending the initial 25% electricity surcharge.

Oh hold on, let me go fix that....

1. Myself, Otter and the server are all in Vancouver. Smorks is out east and mp3 is in the middle of all of us. Between us we actually have pretty good coverage most days.
2. Yes, if someone has professional SRE experience and wants to help out I'm open to it. There's very little on-going maintenance as things just run smoothly 99.999% of the time, but some additional eyes can't hurt and if someone wants to build new stuff there's things I'd like to do =)
3. Betterstack at the moment, combined with some custom healthscript scripts which write to our discord and an improperly configured alert config on my phone that didn't wake me up.
4. Oh neat, I didn't realize pagerduty had a free tier, I'll check it out.
5. Nope. There haven't been issues that come up, execpt for this one stupid opnsense issue everything has been amazingly stable.
