There are many instances of posts being posted to the same named communities on different instances - like aww@lemmy.world and aww@lemmy.ml. I haven’t personally seen actual duplicates on Memmys side yet. If you find a way to reproduce reliably let me know.
Yea i can’t log into lemmy.ml at all on this account lol. I’m not sure what’s happening but assume it has something to do with Mali reclaiming their TLD.
Again to be clear, we are not specifically putting any donation links anywhere. If we add an instance about screen, and they happen to have a donation link in the description of the instance, then it would display on Memmy in the instance about screen. And i don’t see how that could be a problem with Apple, that would basically be the same as on Reddit someone posting a link to a buy me a coffee page or something.
We don't support landscape atm for this reason. It's supposed to be turned off but for some reason people can still use it. We will support it eventually but it's too hard making sure everything works in both portrait and landscape atm.
Are you on the Test Flight or App Store release? Test Flight has it. If you’re on App Store, it’ll be a little bit before we can update that since we are currently just having some stability issues with our state management rewrite atm
It's very difficult to track bug reports in Test Flight tbh. Plus since users can't look at what's been reported, we see so many duplicates of the same bug. It gets very noisy. So because of that we don't really look at TestFlight reports right now. We just don't have the time to sort through them ourselves.
Appreciate it! It's definitely been an adjustment dealing with public criticism vs just my tech lead asking why all my commits say "wtf" on my last PR lol
Yea this is an issue with our state management, but it's not actually posting the comment to that thread. Just essentially displaying a "cached" comment before we load the new comments of the new post.
Yea like i said it’s disabled on our end but for some reason it’s still on
