Using Ubuntu may give off hipster vibes to the average PC user, but within the Linux community its has the opposite effect.

  • Will your display device or associated equipment tell you? My home theater receiver has a signal info button that will display the refresh rate or VRR, if enabled. Also has HDR mode if any, as well as audio input & output formats.

  • Yeah, I tend to operate the same way. I stopped watching movie trailers maybe ten years ago because there are only five basic movie trailers, and they all hit the same tired beats. I hate them all.
