  • The company may be nice now and it's okay to be happy with them, but that doesn't mean you attack the personality of someone for pointing out factual information written in your beloved companies agreements.

  • Personally for me, I use different browsers or at least different browser profiles for different uses - e.g. Work, personal, financial, etc.

I use KeePass for sensitive passwords, the browser's password manager is good for general stuff.

Most people I know who don't really care about tech don't do any of this and use whatever they're offered.

  • There's a fad in India that having an iPhone makes you a sophisticated person.

I have colleagues who've spent more than a whole month's salary over it. They all use WhatsApp instead of Apple Messages, put on a ₹100 cover they got by bargaining at the railway station they commute to everyday for 2 hours, can't afford the wireless charger, and every 3rd person seems to have one - idk what's sophisticated about such an unexclusive device ¯(ツ)

  • People don’t store credentials in browsers

Yes they do - every browser asks users if they want to remember the password they just entered. Many people say yes, I do too for most cases - it is very convinient.

  • While this is just a meme, I heard of it happening somewhere so I'm not sure if it's just a meme

Linux was actually created by sentient AI so that when the day comes they can control all computers with bash scripts instead of those pesky GUIs.

While this is just a meme, I heard of it happening somewhere so I'm not sure if it's just a meme.
