Yes, but if the lidar sees something the cameras doesn't, you trust the lidar.

Some, like tschüß, servus or ciao are informally used by some Czechs, others like guten tag, bon jour, dobro došli are understood, but not used unless in some joke way. It would be pretty weird to encounter any of them when talking to e. g. hotel staff, though, unless there's an expectation you speak that language.

They have to work with what they have. Which isn't much.

I'm pretty sure that TikTok can't afford paying $400 million fine every month or so as "cost of doing business", so they will fix the issue pretty quickly.

Who cares what OS the AWS machines are running? I can't touch it, it's completely inaccessible for me and other clients. I can only touch the services which AWS provides. I wouldn't know the difference if it was running windows, since the OS is completely transparent, basically a hidden implementation detail.

Nah, it was expected all the way since SMIC bought 7nm lithography machines from ASML. It will be more interesting to watch when they start building their own lithography machines since their current stock will not scale (and will eventually break down without spare parts).

I'm not trying to convince anybody, I'm fine with the current sanction course. But it's kinda funny to watch the Russian / tankie desperate "sanctions don't work, so .... you know there's no sense in continuing them, so .... you should lift them."

Yeah, that occurred to me as well. Provoke an atmosphere of suspicion, don't trust each other, even perhaps encourage cases of friendly fire.

It's possible that the amount of defectors isn't actually close to being important and the few real cases are more useful as psyops.

That would make stocks a form of retirement, not a work compensation.
