Iran has recently been reported as failing to meet its nuclear non-proliferation obligations and this is undoubtedly the reason Israel describes these strikes as pre-emptive.
There are people who work late into the night creating something for the benefit of humanity or just for their own pleasure in creation. There are other people that take those things and bleed them dry to make profit to the point of ruination. There are yet others who use them to spew out hatreds that eat away everything good inside themselves and those that will seek out depravity. What we are getting in this is not the loss of any promise of the internet or the coming of AI but an uncomfortably clear reflection of what, in the mass we actually are.
I wasnt discussing underlying cause, whatever the reason for stifled innovation in some fields possibly evident in NASA it is likely preferable not to pull independent labs into NASA that are having success in these areas.
Hang on a minute, equivalents of SpaceX and Starlink could have naturally grown out of NASA, it was the obvious place for them to come from but NASA did not show that innovation and nationalisation of them might dilute their abilities. For clarity I am not suggesting the innovation came from Musk, he has no science or engineering, his talents are grifting, showmanship and taking credit for other people's work, he is a natural figurehead though and seemed quite clear thinking until he lost his mind.
Let me guess those lawmakers themselves will communicate with uncompromised encryption, it is only everyone else that will require a backdoor making all data passing essentially unencrypted. For a second guess let me suggest those lawmakers will not imagine themselves in any way personally responsible for all the data lost by individuals as a result of their proposed measures.
Voices or any sound on TV or radio are broadcast with a subaudible identifying channel which pips the programme title and production date in a tight asymmetric closed loop. Your phone can read this and so separate it out from actual spoken voices in the room. An organic spoken voice will produce phlegmatic outflow during natural conversation that can mimic this pipping giving your date of birth and street location but most modern phones can detect and discount it but will record it.
