  • There is a difference between ruining the life of a 13 year old boy for the rest of his life with no recourse and no expectations.

Vs scaring the shit out of them and making them work their ass off doing an ass load of community service for a summer.

  • The intended meaning of most of from soft games is perseverance in spite of objective futility and the failure of society.

The world has died, society has failed, the powerful both good and bad have failed. No one, no matter their intentions can change the world for everyone around them let alone themselves by themselves. The good can not make the world better and the bad can not make it worse.

To inact change requires people to sacrifice and push forward. Even if it means their doom, even if it's pointless. For no good ever comes from half measures, from hiding away, or from denying that which is around them because it is unpleasant.

For only with perseverance and the lasting memory and hope of change being taken up be each successor can true change be made.

And even still, to fight to hold that change still, and deny the next generation their right to enact change is just as futile and harmful as not trying at all.

This not including the additional horrors and commentary from their armored core games or spin offs such as Bloodborne. Even those series still have this under lying messaging.

While you arnt wrong on the aesthetics and what they give off on a surface level. You clearly lack the context of the world and story of the main souls games beyond only what is on the cover. You are very much in the wrong and deeply at that, over what the meaning of the worlds of from soft games.

Haunting IS a better word to describe it then stunning tho.

For as "nuanced" as people like to claim the from soft games are. They are very very blunt with their messaging, even if the stories they tell are terribly convoluted.

  • Iv always just run the modding software in the same wine/proton instance as the game and it just works like on windows.

Other then wabbajack for Bethesda games because the devs behind that are fucking asshats who break their shit on purpose if you try to use it outside how they want you to use it.

It's always been very easy to mod.

  • FF14 and BDO for example still have GMs but they are woefully understaffed. This is the more common reality.

Few to no mmos have zero GMs. They just frequently only work for like an hour a day doing spot checks are under staffed and mostly just are email support.

The old days of gms frequently being actively in-game to reach out to 24/7 isn't a thing anymore.

  • Generally every aftermarket battery iv bought has been like this. Shorter stated lifespan, but perfectly functional and frequently lasts just as long as OEM.

Just go with a private company that specializes in the manufacture of the laptop in question and spend a bit more.

Rare to get a crap battery unless your trying to save every cent possible.

  • No .... Not at all. This is just straight fear mongering.

The alternative to birthright is blood right or inheritance right.

Which is what the majority of the world uses. It's only the America's that use birth right generally.

For the most part it's based on the blood lineage or parentage of the child. So regardless of where in the world you are born, or what borders you are in.

You get the same citizenship as your parents. Generally speaking, birthright citizenship has more issues and is more of a problem than the other methods.

Birthright is mostly used in the Americas because we were made up of colonies and for the most part you don't leave the country you were born in back in the day. Unlike old world countries.

You may want to actually look a bit more into this. It sounds like you only are reading the panic and fear-mongering headlines.

What Trump is doing is f***** on many many levels. But the problem isn't so much the ending of birthright citizenship itself. But the way he's going about doing it, why he's doing it and the lack of a proper replacement to a different system.

Hell realistically if things were done right with good intentions and through proper channels, switching from birthright to a different system could actually be and would likely be a net positive for America. Hell most of the Americas.

But instead we have a crazed lunatic doing it for the worst reasons and the worst way with no intent to switch to a different system for the betterment of the country.

But it's been a big problem with this topic that people keep mixing up moral versus legal arguments as well as just general fear-mongering versus actual proper reasoned issues.

This is all f***** and shouldn't be happening, but you need to call a spade a Spade or you only hurt yourself and your own argument

  • Basically every country in earth does not use birth right citizenship. It's basically only a feature of new world colony countries.

The majority of the world does not use it. The americas may have a lot of landmass they do not have the majority of people.

It's mostly based on parentage or blood. You arnt ever born with out citizenship some country always lays claim to ownership of your person. But it's not normally based on the borders ownership, but the person's giving birth ownership.

  • Would help if you stopped using legal terms to argue moral ones then. Then you wouldn't get people like him arguing with you.

He's right, you are wrong. Full stop. Human rights is a legal term and defined in written word. Your issue is a moral not a legal one. You need to use proper terms and make yourself clear.

Blood right nationality and birth right nationality both are equally legal.

Going from one to the other is perfectly legally fine. Hell it's even morally fine. If anything there is less problems with blood right over birth right. As birth right nationality has frequent issues with births outside of the country, and since fewer countries use birth right it causes even more.

Yes it's all the America's that use it, but that's more a size of land mass not an actual population argument. By number of people, and countries blood right is the common method.

There are clear moral issues with WHY trump is doing this. And being upset at those reasons is perfectly moral. Hell I don't like him doing this either. It's for all the wrong reasons and being done in a fucked up way. But that doesn't mean switching citizenship methodology is bad or wrong would also just be objectively incorrect. It can be done in a perfectly legal AND morally acceptable way.

Trump just of course doesn't care about legal or moral thus the problems.

But humans rights it is not. Stop using a legal term that only quasi is connected to your words. It undermines your own stance. It only makes it hard to actually take you serious. It just makes you come across as trying to cause a panic instead of actually taking a stance.

  • People tend to forget that in the past the parents rarely were the ones who raised the kids. It was the grandparents.

Parents have kids, the grandparents raise them, the parents learn how to raise so they then can raise them when they are the grandparents.

Raising a family was generational and cooperative. It's more modern that family units are so small

  • Oh boi, for gaming Ubuntu and it's family is... Iffy at best. You tend to end up with weird problems cause of the older software frequently. Not a problem till it VERY much is.

Modern gaming basically requires you to be really close to cutting edge if you want remotely reliable performance and timely bug fixes. Which you just do not and will never get on Ubuntu.

It's why valve choose arch for steam OS. It's why cachyOS exists. It's why the big popular alterative is fedora based.

Tho suggesting bazzite is iffy with how fedora likes to break things with dumb changes.

  • The fact people suggest anything fedora based to new users is even more baffling then suggesting pure arch.

Fedora loves to just randomly destroy itself every so often. Hell they are currently thinking of doing it right now!

If your going to do a gamer distro like bazzite as a gamer your objectively better off just going with cachyOS.

It's literally the same base as steam OS, has half the problems. And wont just implode because fedora decides to change something stupid yet again.
