Doing nothing to protect: states can ban abortion but with Roe v Wade hovering over them, there's not much they can do about people going to other states to get abortions done.
Attacking: repealing Roe v Wade, raiding clinics, suing Planned Parenthood et al. into the ground, arresting doctors that perform them and women that have them done.

Now? Yes. I'm tired of the moral high ground.

I never understand this. Most of the time when I see this it's a low-throughput business like a pawn shop trying to entice people to come inside. But why would I get any closer to your loud-as-fuck speaker that you've propped the door open with blaring shitty trap music?

It's both. It's always both. People are afraid and angry and hungry, and that brings fascism like flies to shit. I really don't want to believe that people were always this hateful, and that it's mostly because times are tough for everyone. Doesn't help that you have Fox News and their cronies whipping everyone into a frenzy about every little thing.

Oh well. Now we'll see them put their plan into action and hope that they somehow self-implode before they do too much damage.

"Longstanding policy" = what we did the last time this fucker was elected. There is no precedent for this, and the entire judicial branch shrugged and said "What are you going to do?".

The Democrats impeached him twice but there was no way he was ever going to be convicted with the Senate in its then-state. Meanwhile, his lawyers and Judge Cannon have been doing nothing but delaying until checks watch now! Unless you have an idea for speeding up the American judicial system? If there was enough support from any state to straight up not let him run, then they would have done so. But as we've seen, 40% of the American voting populace have the intelligence of a kindergartner and just votes for "the other party" when the economy isn't doing well.

That's just because they live in the 21st century.

Do they? Most of their military supplies come straight from us in the form of donations. I don't believe they've ever really spent that much money that we didn't hand them to give back to the MIC, like a parent giving their kid a dollar to buy an ice cream cone.

I've certainly seen an uptick in anti-social behavior since Covid. Whether or not it's because of the economic situation or being cooped up inside, it really seems to have done a number on some people.

I enjoy how everyone just kinda ignores the fact that the ones trying to stop people from voting are always the Republicans.
