It was really groundbreaking to have the narrator react to what you were doing, in a "Half-Life feels like a real world that you inhabit" way. The way the music was woven into the game was also amazing, and the art! There's a reason it put them on the map.

I didn't like the gameplay all that much though and the world building didn't make too much sense to me. These parts have aged the most poorly. But it was way better than just marketing.

I would believe them that they had the vision, I wouldn't believe it would literally happen, but I would consider if it was a sign that the trip was not a good idea for some other reason.

I haven't watched the video, but I've definitely played with spoons, forks, water cups, knives, and made towers out of the grape jelly packets from childhood through to adulthood if it strikes my fancy. I know this isn't exactly "normal" but it's kind of fun. It's probably also fun if you're tripping on ketanine, IDK.

There's stuff I could do, like remove tags from myself on fb (is that possible?) or delete my account, but it's enough work and enough of a loss (what if I need to find an old contact) that I just ignore the problem.

It still might be problematic around airports if people on the ground breathe it in before it reacts. And what about all the sodium bicarbonate precipitating all over the ground? That's bound to affect the local environment before it ends up in the oceans..

True, IDK maybe there is enough in the air (???) that rinsing with the plastic neti pot would be a net negative for plastic in the nose.

The squeeze bottle is easier than the neti pot but I've never felt great about the micro plastic potential
