  • And you wonder why he never wanted to release his tax returns. Becoming President put him under the microscope and what he did after the 2020 election was by his own doing. I hope that Trump supporters stick with him if he's in prison before the 2024 election. It'll be the easiest election to win. One candidate is in prison for attempting to overturn the last election but claims he can pardon himself. The other is not. Hrmmm which one should you vote for?

  • I’ve been telling people for years that the entire 21st century is at risk of being a lost century. Even personally I can’t guarantee my data will be with me 20 years from now even though I back it up. If you care about a photo or document, print it and throw it it a box. As I get older I find more of an obsession with physical media from a preservation point of view. Because I know my books and pictures will be around 50 years from now. Digital files not so much.

  • That’s not insane it’s how people have worked since the birth of the modern office over 109 years. To think an extreme circumstance such as COVID was going to force all of these big companies to be remote forever is insane. The power would eventually go back to employers. And unfortunately not enough workers across all industries unionized so the employee power is gone again. I’m lucky I get 3 days in office and 2 days at home. Honestly I’ll take that over 5 days in office like pre-Covid

  • Surprised this didn’t happen before but VFX houses are overworked and under paid. It’s only a matter of time they’ll be replaced by a farm of AI computers in the studio

  • Not surprised by this. I worry about the next Recession and more on the recovery part. How do you add more jobs when there’s less human roles available?

  • Keep talking. I’m sure it’ll get him to jail quicker if he starts to leak info about the discovery and witnesses…

  • I think Zuckerberg should just challenge him to a blinking contest. We know who’ll win that….

  • We’ll when you jailed your political rival for 10 years why have one?

  • I just use Firefox and DuckDuckGo

  • Most companies were going to at least return to a hybrid model. To think all companies would be 100% remote work is insane

  • Great can I get a hologram so I can be in office and it can do my work for me?

  • My favorite line he says at his rally is "They're not coming after me, they're coming after you" - case example that the 2024 campaign is about making his greivences the greivences of his followers. Where in 2016 to his credit, he got in the White House for making other people's greivences his own.

  • Honestly only people that are victims from human generated misinformation (Trump supporters and viewers of far right media for example) will be victims of AI generated misinformation. If you're sending photos and stories for people that don't fact check it's easy to convince them anything.

  • Or when you see idiots post things like this. If you want to complain that's fine but at least look at the facts what you're comparing. Apparently Trump supporters are incapable of that. Yes Hilary questioned the election results and even Democrats objected to the electoral count of the certification of some of the rust belt states Trump won. But they didn't try to get Joe Biden to send the results back to Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Obama wasn't calling up state officials to overturn the results. Democrats didn't get an angry mob to storm the capitol.

  • Yes my point is that 2000 is a valid reason to be suspicious. But you don't see Gore kicking the results back to Florida and have them overturn the election results with fake electors. That's fraud.

  • Remember the 2000 election? That was a close one. One county in one state with a 500 vote difference. 2020 were 5 states with 10k votes in Arizona to 180k votes in Pennsylvania to Biden. If they pulled 13k votes for out of Trump’s ass for AZ and GA he would of still would of lost the election. They key to the White House is the rust belt. Republicans are too dumb to understand this.

  • I think the US vs Trump will be the trial of the century. Probably the Jan 6th case more than the documents case. Trump will be a case example on why the framers write our constitution for people like him. I only hope the laws of justice uphold. Even by the time a Republican does get into the White House (say 2028) and pardons him, the Georgia state charges still stick (if he's convicted) and he remains in prison the rest of his life

  • Parental rights start and stop within the household. I don't get why we need to have such a wide ban in schools and libraries. If you don't want your child to read something that's fine. But don't spoil the diversity of books and resources because you're so narrow minded...
