  • After many years of using Tasker, I switched to Macrodroid.

Not quite as powerful but does 95% of what Tasker can do and the interface makes waaaay more sense, to me.

Macrodroid can also utilise Tasker and Locale plugins.

  • Sonos. Ikea also do a cheaper version with the same internals as the Sonos systems.

  • Rather than NFS, perhaps iSCSI would be a better fit.

  • Use a single reverse proxy on that one port... it can then route the requests to the various back ends.

You probably want something that's Docker-native like Traefik or Caddy.

  • No planning past the next shareholder meeting?? I'm shocked. /s

  • I buy bulk shower gel, in 5L containers and have used the same 1L gel pump for 3 years so far. Much less waste.

  • Whose left? There's nothing to the left. On the right side I see a video thumbnail with a link to a video.

  • Tandem.

BitWarden is the client. VaultWarden is the server-side, self-hosted component that emulates the official BitWarden cloud service.

  • "Passkeys" is just a marketing term for Webauthn.

  • The Matrix bridges run server-side and not on the phone.

  • There are already guides written by the authors of the bridges.

  • Yep. That's what this scenario solves.

  • Beeper is indeed Matrix with a WA bridge.

  • I have a WA client app running in an Android Emulator that runs for 10 minutes once a week.

It's only needed because WhatsApp wants you to use an official client, otherwise they invalidate any attached sessions.

It's not needed for any actual technical reason.

  • Matrix with some bridges?

I use WhatsApp through it without using the official WA app.

  • It's seems very US-centric. Is that by design or due to the sources used?
