It's simple! For me I either have to pay that much, be homeless, move to a tiny shitty city with no work in my field, or spend a year trying to find a decent place that isn't totally unaffordable while thousands of competing potential tenants do the same to renters with vacancies. So fun!

My landlord upped my monthly rent $600 bucks this year because he's a cunt and knows I have no fucking choice except to pay him.

I recently bought a metal detector/stud finder for that exact reason. I also am an electrician and have to find studs or rebar often when drilling and it's been great for that too. In your case it would work by detecting the nails in the studs instead of looking for the studs themselves. I got the Zircon Metalliscanner (I believe)

I used to ride my bike a lot when I was young to the point where it became my automatic thing to do whenever I was feeling stressed/anxious/depressed. The adventures I went on, while also being outside in nature and in the sun (or moonlight) would always pick me right back up.

I only realized this recently as I've had a huge urge to buy a bike again but didn't know exactly why.

This is the main reason I want one. I originally got a gaming laptop for work trips, but my main computing device is such a scary thing to bring on trips. A deck would be perfect though.

I've always wondered if subscriptions would balloon if they just charged like $2 per month. But I think they set the price where it is so it can be competitive vs potential ad revenue (which they are amping up like crazy)

I quite enjoy YouTube premium. I was an avid Adblock/YouTube Vanced user before, but now that I am a little older and make more money, I realized it's worth it to me to get premium. I don't pay for any other streaming services, and YouTube is what I watch the most so I figured why not support it.

It makes me feel better knowing my money gets distributed to creators as well through YouTube. That did not happen before as I always blocked ads. Plus I don't need Spotify if I want to stream music because I have YouTube music. And YouTube music actually seems to have more of the music I like anyways, plus I already liked finding music through YouTube channels anyways.

I'm not advocating that everyone should buy YouTube premium, I'm just saying that it can have its merits for some people.

I remember I switched to chrome way back when chrome was first becoming popular because of its speed compared to Firefox in like 2010 or something. Firefox caught up within a year and I have never missed Chrome for a second.

I haven't noticed it too much but I feel like everyone is so used to how Reddit was that it would take some work and a collective agreement between users on the fediverse to shun the low quality comments.

I do remeber that somewhat working on Reddit for a while, but yeah once it became big enough there was no stopping the shitty comments.

I would browse r/republican to get perspective on news that came out from a right wing perspective to keep my mind open to both sides.

I didn't just rely on left-leaning news or social media to form my views; I witnessed things such as projection myself over and over in the right-wong community, and from right-wing leaders.

I was a slutty nun for Halloween and looking cute in a skirt is definitely possible, but man does it take a lot of work to find anything that fits decently. Dresses are simply impossible to find of course because, as you said, the shape is not at all made for men.

Also that outfit made me want to go full f1nn5ter and dress up in feminine clothes all the time lol. It's so much fun! I'm so down for people to figure out how to make the shape work for masculine body shapes.
