Discover has a 5% cash back calendar where you get up $75 back for purchases in that category. Others have them too not usually that high and it's hard to know if you reached the limit for the promotion. Their website site and customer service is great. Yes I have other cards and I use whichever will get me the most cash back. It's unusual for someone not to take discover where I go but that's the reason for the other cards.

Because the vaccine has microchips so Bill Gates can track you. No, this is not true but it is believed by some. Some people will believe anything, except scientists,and these people have very loud voices even though they are about 30% of the population. Fox news and now FB and other platforms just amplify their nonsense and hate. Not an excuse but an explanation of what we are dealing with.

I don't think they are embarrassed by it. They know thry don't have our vote it's only to keep the trumpy grumpies happy and hope they can pull some shenanigans to win.

I forgot about that guy but the other one actually has a degree in the field he's making crack pot claims in and is making the school look bad. I think I saw something about some schools pulling honery diplomas when something got controversial and the school didn't want to have the association. I just wasn't sure about earned degrees.

At the very least the doctor association should pull his license for giving bad advice. I thought that was a thing during the covid years.

Same here. The mountain I frequent just put in a high speed lift, went operational Dec 24. After Christmas they got rain for at least a couple of days during break and I didn't even try skiing then.

My kids went sledding one day last season and one day so far this season. The ground barely freezes so the mice and ticks will be in force come spring.

I'm in New England so further south but I do remember the times we had snowy Christmases and could skate on the ponds. Hopefully my kids might be able to experience that but I have my doubts, I doubt I will ever see that again.

He's willing to ask the questions other networks are to afraid to ask. He has destroyed careers because of it look up jon Stewart and hard ball. We do have NPR and MSNBC but they still won't ask the hard questions or confront the hosts. I've heard that only a couple of times on NPR but only lately. Plus Jon can taunt the people to afraid to come on unlike a professional news orgs.

It doesn't matter how much he lies about it and the rest of the right wing media lies about it he's an insurrectionist. It doesn't matter how much they lie about climate change it still exists and humans are the cause. It doesn't matter how much they lie they are for family values when they only want to get the religious right on board and control women. This is nothing new in their approach and has been going on for decades. There's a reason Fox news was created after Nixon and it was to do stuff like this.

Don't assume he can't win. Vote like democracy depends on it because if he wins our country loses.

Except in the last local elections most of that was undone because the voters are starting to listen. I just hope we aren't to late. We did well in 2018, 2020, and 2022 2023 if you look at the histories of such things.

I do feel we are really trying hard to keep our democracy but at this point in time I feel one bad midterm or presidential election will be our downfall.

Could it be the ad drain on x when musk musked it up? Maybe they want a place for the x ex advertisers to go? I agree they didn't do it out of love for democracy or seeking truth.

This mentions row v wade and abortion and I saw just the other day the birth rate is going up in the red states. Now is the birth rate going up faster than the death rate in the red states?

For whatever reason the death rate was higher in the red states versus the blue after 2020 and I'm not sure if it has gone down pre 2020 levels
