Why write 36.111 C when you could write 97 F? Its the same reason you write 3cm instead of 0.03m. Its just more convenient even though its the same thing.

Thats just economics, and there is more to it than simply socialism vs capitalism.

It will essentially fill that need for them outside of anything Musk does short of rendering the service unavailable.

That honestly wouldn't surprise me at this point. I can't imagine advertisers are very happy about his terrible leadership. If he makes a few more blunders I think things could go south pretty fast. Especially with threads being a potential alternative that has a lower barrier to entry than something like mastodon, it would be a smoother transition than it would be otherwise.

Maybe its just wishful thinking, but I do think the death of twitter is a possibility.

I was under the impression he had a lot of control over spacex but less so over Tesla. Two google searches may not be the most thorough of research, but I don't really want to devote more of my time to him.

Ive never played obliviok but i do know they surprisingly did update fallout 3 to work on modern windows, but they sure took their time considering fixing it yourself meant downloading one file and putting it in the game folders. They really should have fixed more than that though because its extremely unstable and its not great even with mods that aim to fix it.

New Vegas has worked much better in my experience although others have told me they ran into even more issues than with 3, so I'm not sure.

Its definitely not what you usually get in a half life game but I wouldn't say its not worth playing without vr. If you're willing to live with the differences then you can still enjoy it.

It requires a fairly good PC. I played it on my budget rig with a used rift s. I was very glad I don't get motion sick easily because it was very often well below 60fps.

Why not just use two guillotines so you can do a and b. Best of both worlds.

I thought it was bad that video games required an internet connection, but a car?? I get why it would be useful for a taxi kind of thing, but at least just have it complete the current route before freezing like that. Is all the computing done on a remote server? If so, that's even worse.

They get none of the money because its purchased with stolen credit cards and the payment is charged back. I wouldn't lose any sleep screwing over a studio that has way too much money anyway, but you're also supporting the key reseller that is actively exploiting indie devs. Just stay away from them.

Its not particularly dangerous when compared to alcohol, but its definitely not harmless. It isn't addictive in the sense that it causes a chemical dependency, but its very easy to over rely on because its simply a cheap easy way to feel good. There was a period in my life where I would say I was addicted to it. Any other pleasure in my life wasn't relevant unless I was combining it with marijuana, and despite what I believed at the time it didn't make me creative or productive. I was a walking stereotype of a lazy stoner. I only quit because I was forced to after losing my job for a surprisingly unrelated reason. I felt like garbage for days on end after stopping and only then did I realize it was a problem. At this point I have a much healthier relationship with the drug, I usually only partake in social situations with some rare exceptions. How bad the drug is really just depends on who's using it and how they're using it.

Its also cringe to ignore the fact that it can be a problem. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but I see it a lot and neither extreme is good.

It might be a Turkish grind if it looks finer than espresso. You would need to get an ibrik to brew it but luckily those are way cheaper than espresso machines.

Turkish coffee needs very fine grounds because you don't filter it, you just drink it grounds and all.

Scary is definitely an exagerration but it is frustrating and unpleasant.

That's the difference between the two, what else am I supposed to base my opinion off of?
