Counterpoint. I once found about £80, handed it in to the police, got a receipt, a few weeks later got a call, no-one had claimed it, was allowed to come and claim it.

Same here, often 20+ tabs per client, and sometimes working for 6-8 clients at a time. Plus a tab of my own for music/social/news/sport.

That makes sense, but they wouldn't work so well with the adjective at the end of a sentence.

Eg

"Today feels very autumnal" 👍
"Today feels very fall" 👎

Think it depends where you put the stress.

I'd say "Ad VER tis ment"

But if I was stressing the tis part, a "tize" sound would feel more natural.

That's how I would say advertising, for example, "adver TIZE ing"

Re fall/autumn - is there a US equivalent for the work autumnal? Falllike doesn't seem quite right, nor fallish, nor fallumnal.
