I filter out a few keywords so I don't get inundated with politics but can still get a little news in my feed. Just enough articles slip past the keywords to keep a good balance.
When the BLM marches happened in New Orleans you hardly saw any cops. Where were they? Always a block away directing traffic away from the marchers to prevent congestion. New Orleans has huge events year round with people parading through the streets making NOPD particularly adept at crowd control. They just left the protesters alone and routed everybody around them.
I marched ever day for a week and there wasn't a single act of violence on either side.
Which is the supposed origin of chicken and waffles. Jazz musicians in New York City finishing their gigs in the late night hours between dinner and breakfast would go to Wells Supper Club in Harlem and get a little bit of both.
