  • True, but I was referring to when Trump declares martial law, as he said he would. There will be no opposition from his own party as there was here.

  • Military. They said they're not leaving until the president stops declaring martial law.

  • I haven't played it since they were added, so I'm not sure myself. Maybe this will help. If you have an Xbox maybe it's similar?

  • I had the same reaction, and looked it up to learn that consoles do indeed have curated mods that can be used. The one I wanted to use the most, expanding the number of party members that can be controlled in battle, is there, so I might just have to do another playthrough...

  • She has way more power and influence compared to Bernie.

I don't see how, since she's a failed candidate and the VP of a lame duck president. You're not wrong that she could at least make an attempt to have some sort of message of resistance, but even if she did it wouldn't have any practical effect. Milquetoast centrist is milquetoast.

  • Yup. "Doomed to repeat it." We're repeating it.

  • Yup. He'll sign anything they put in front of him.

  • Bernie is in a position where he actually does something. Vice President is a bench-warming position with no real power.

  • "Scratch any cynic and you'll find a disappointed idealist."

  • Why is a toaster the small electrical appliance of choice for that kind of thing? Good voltage/size ratio?

  • Biden, who time and again pledged to Americans that he would restore norms and respect for the rule of law after Trump’s first term in office, ultimately used his position to help his son, breaking his public pledge to Americans that he would do no such thing.

...after Americans voted that norms and respect for the rule of law don't mean shit. Fuck 'em, I would have done the same thing.

  • American voters threw it all away and said that ethics don't mean shit. He acted accordingly. Fair enough.
