That's true, but even so, corruption and illegal acts manage to get reported on. It just makes no difference unless the person doesn't have enough GOP connections.

Usually they just ignore the courts and do what they want, but in this case it would be difficult to actually hold a nationwide election, even a sham one, because it would require enough of the states to cooperate and put him on the ballot.
