Like the Bible, I maybe haven't read every single word, there was the title, something something with a ship and a cross, then a damn long register, but I think, I got the essence. It's a boring antediluvian scam, kinda like Elon has written it...

We don't have tv anymore since around 2000, before we just watched VH-1'n'stuff, not because "it's all so bad for the kids" - it is, but that wasn't the main reason, it's just shit) we watched SpongeBob over Internet with our (at that time) little daughter in English, not our native tongue german, she had an easy entry into studying internationally because she just spoke English almost better than German. She told me once she even dreams in English most of the time, so we speak our own little germish/engleutsch mix during the day here, it's partially more efficient to communicate that way (including some family neologisms)

Do you play an instrument? Or just own a flute or harmonica? The turkeys at my wife's uncle's place LOVE music, they even sing along. Gobbelgobbelgobbel. Hilarious! There's a German word,"Truthanschottigkeit" - it means the sudden urge to play the bagpipes for a turkey. ...nah, there isn't, but would be nice if there were, right?!

I adore mechanical stuff that looks too complicated to comprehend on the first look, old sewing machines, old typewriters, mechanical calculators, knitting machines, clocks and watches, marble tracks etc. I was abysmal in school math, today I'm collecting old mechanical and electronic calculators and slide rules (and use them & show 'em to the kids at schools) Scales and maps are another obsession. Maybe because we were too poor for mechanical toys like Meccano or better Lego technic when I was a kid? Btw I loved the sesame street episode with the what-happens-next-machine as a very young kid. Then again, my wife says I have mild ADHD or something in that direction, idk.

I had a look into it and have to say: you got a point. OP still has to learn some things, but where's life there is hope.

"Mole sniffing dog" - I'm intrigued. Once I had a golden mole (presumably another subspecies) in my hand, our guide in the Namibian desert showed us one, relatively easy to catch, as a human with a bucket. Unbelievably soft, very small, very light, nose like a chisel. They hear with their nose in the sand, that's how they catch their prey. Awesome little critters, masters of their environment.

People don't need super powers for that, it's so easy. Crack open the way for the ego drug and they do anything. Nobody is immune. The "holier" the person, the easier it is.
