Is it possible you're being overly sensitive? Your community doesn't have a lot of content or discussion, in fact prior to your last post, the previous was 4 months ago.

In regards to downvotes, there's pricks on here that think that All is a curated feed and vote accordingly. Sadly there's nothing no one can do to fix that. All you can do, as a community leader is to post regular good content and engage with the members you do get. Building a community is always more about the people than the numbers.

I would say that voting isn't actually different from posting/commenting. It's a process whereby a user takes part in a discussion/topic/post. In an ideal world, everyone would post, but we shouldn't act like active people who don't feel like they have anything to say explicitly, aren't here.

So they forked mastodon and gutted the features and are now reimplementing them in a way that's fundamentally incompatible with upstream? Sounds a lot like something Silicon Valley would do.

Is there a method to see which apps are using Firebase?

Just been reading up on this, they're basically using the push device ID to see when certain devices are receiving data and from what apps. It sounds like more work than its worth, but it's clearly something that's being used widely.

Exactly. The only reason this was added was to confuse our music libraries.

Ahhhh. That's one of the things that infuriates me. How people will vote based on the fact that they may get rich one day and so not want to hurt their potential future self, not realising that the way they vote will never allow them to get into that position, except from with a stroke of luck.
