Opera were visionary. But I was only referring to detached tabs, which Mozilla implemented, Chrome followed and now Vivaldi.

They're still cosplaying decentralisation. Google hosts images on a separate domain to the one where they serve documents, are they decentralised? When we see more indexers, by all means let's consider BlueSky decentralised, but until then, they're just offloading traffic.

As a side note, it's kinda interesting how that fediverse.info tries to pretend that Lemmy isn't a thing, all while treating WordPress like it's the second biggest Fediverse service and not currently trying to fuck over a bunch of users and long-term contributors.

SyncThing syncs a massive folder and Muzei randomises them and switches them every half hour. If they're ever the same on two devices, I start stressing because something has gone horribly wrong.

Have this on all my devices to sync wallpapers. Such a shame when developers burn out
