Interesting how the previous one would have hit the deadline by now if it continued. I wonder how many signatures it would have got. I hope this new one will be able to get more traction. It would be interesting to see parliament debate this.
Looking at any petition that crossed the response threshold; their responses just seem to be explanations on the current regulations/policies/etc., rather than any agreement to action. I suppose this response makes the other possibilities a bit clearer in regard to what is/isn't possible regarding perusing UK game ownership. I guess we'll need to cross the debate threshold for anything meaningful to come of the petition.
I downloaded Yuzu from flathub before Nintendo went after it, but continued to use it after.
I had to expand the swapfile on my Steam Deck to prevent it from frequently crashing, but I don’t really care about frame rate, so long as it’s playable. I’ve not been paying attention to my frame rate.
Although getting joycon drift twice and then being able to play TOTK free from drift by pirating it onto my Deck may have finally brought the roots free.
I want my favourite Nintendo games to become open source or open domain. Why do we have to wait like a century for open domain? 20-40 years would be much more reasonable.
How else do I get my £ back?
