It would be interesting what those courier companies will do if they survive the strike.
Will they partner with companies other than Purolator and UPS; reduce their business; sue for breach of contract; or they'll continue as usual?

They can form their own Blackwater and charge gazilion dollars to operate in the same places as they were before

We will build a wall.. and have the US pay for it...

This should be fantastic for hackers, there's new target(s) beside SWIFT.
If Swift could still be hacked, this payment needs to really ramp up their security processes pretty quick before some hacker steals money from it

They have a choice of staying home and not vote

Glad I moved to Garmin a while back. I preferred Fitbit's Dashboard over Garmin
When I heard Google's buying it, I got a Garmin for my next smartwatch just to check the UI. I was thinking of moving back, but I guess I won't.
Garmin seems to be embracing smartwatches with a number of different series

The Real Estate Bubble That Can't Pop

There's probably a lot of crazy stuff happen in Vancouver buses. Vancouver is transit centric, so from the mid-upper class to the poor and mentally ill uses the transit
The last one that I remember was early this year. I was riding the community bus (a 24 passenger, single exit bus, ) and one of the passenger looked like he hasn't showered or changed clothes in days.
The bus bumped into something and the drive stopped and told everyone he had to stop and wait for the transit supervisor.
The guy then started screaming "WHY" several times to the driver and tried to pee on the driver. Luckily there's a plastic barrier (from Covid days) so the driver's safe. After that he probably realized he did something bad and walked out of the bus

Taiwan will just say American corporations should pay more for those precious chips to fund it's defense

Somehow I'm imagining some lowly overworked, outsourced account reviewer decided to apply the strictest consequence for some minor violation on the account and screw his employer for making his life a living hell and underpaying him.

It's because they know it's less likely that they get hurt in peaceful protest and they're more likely to die when protesters are ready to respond with violence and weapons.

The police will probably use force to clear the protest. It's hard to protest for peace if you use force to keep protesting..
