Nah, probably just due to different languages I'd guess. I've mostly had issues with it creating Python virtual envs, I always have to manually create one because it just breaks. There's a bug on the jetbrains tracker that's been open for this for more than a year. The run config doesn't respect environment variables, despite having a box for it. And I have constant problems with their remote development feature, though I know that's in beta. Just really disappointing honestly. I hate when my IDE gets in the way of development.
Arch will go into emergency mode whenever it can't mount a volume in fstab on boot. If the drive is formatted as NTFS, I've had this exact problem. I think it has to do with windows marking the drive as dirty. I didn't bother figuring out what the problem was, I just stopped trying to mount an NTFS drive on boot. Maybe you'd have better luck using the ntfs-3g driver?
Just an awkward developer type who doesn't know how to firmly say no in interviews. I wonder how differently the story would've gone if they had a good PR rep from the start.
"kid friendly flavors" tend to be literally everything except for "chemical tobacco flavor" and menthol. And sometimes they go after the menthol too. They're trying to kill the whole thing.
Lol I am definitely looking forward to having some of those situations come about naturally. They already had a bunch of fun with an NPC that they decided they wanted to bring along on their quest. And I guess I'll get better at rattling off correct-sounding lore jargon as I get more practice improvising. It just baffles me some of the things people I see online manage to come up with on the spot. Though I also understand that many of those people have been GMing in some capacity for 15, 20+ years.
Thank you!! It has definitely been work but I'm having a ton of fun with it so far. Appreciate your comment!
Most of us are presumably adults who can afford to pay for things when they're convenient. That's what it's about for me, convenience. If you're not making it convenient for me to buy your thing fair and square, then I'm gonna pirate it.
If I need to replace the screen, yeah I'll take it apart. But modern phones are usually glued together and a huge pain in the ass to disassemble. So I avoid it unless I really need to.
Oh another one, when I was 8 or 9 one of the first grade teachers threatened me with expulsion for making a fart sound in the hallway. Cried for hours, the wicked bitch. She's dead now though!
Just treated us like human garbage well before I was old enough to know it was fucked up. 4th grade, treating a bunch of 10 year olds like garbage. Screaming, flipping desks over little girls wearing makeup. She'd been complained about for years, but the school wouldn't remove her. I can remember that was the year my issues with anxiety started.
I get the opposite lol. Or the opposite of the norm I guess. I thrive in the cold months. When it's hot as shit and humid in the summer I'm grumpy all the time.
Yeah I think the reasoning is that they're not allowed to have hair that, if let down, would be lower than their eyebrows/earlobes. You're not allowed to have long hair and put it up. Very stupid.
Good to know, thanks!
