  • There's already a pretty recent post about this on the threadiverse. I recommend checking the discussion there as lots of us are not likely to repeat our comments.

  • Any relation to the captain of the NX-01?

  • Private mode is absolutely not private at work even if it's enabled. They see everything you access with their network and know exactly where the traffic is coming from and going to.

  • I won't even connect to a wireless network at work with my phone without VPNing to my home network to browse. People use their work computers to browse for personal reasons? They are all.

  • I've been with namecheap a long long time now. They rarely raise prices and it's usually because upstream costs go up and everyone is raising prices. I'm a happy customer and ain't switching. I don't get bothered for endless upgrades. I only get emails when my domains come up for renewal or on the very rare occasion this happens.

  • They're not the only way. They could weight the audience scores to match the demographics of the greater population so that the imbalance becomes balanced. They have the data, just not the will.

  • Exactly, it doesn't take a genius to compare how these cookies were packaged vs how commercially made cookies are packaged for the store.

  • Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right...

  • Canon to the left of them, canon to the right of them!

  • Apple used to brag about how Macs didn't get viruses. I used to laugh because it wasn't that they were that much more secur but because their market share was too small to be a profitable target.

Now they've cultivated the perfect target user base. A large collection of tech ignorant or adverse people who have lots of money to burn.

  • Yeah, I'm sure the actress who was sleeping with the creator and star of the show just got tacked on to the main cast in season three because she's a great actor. She's not a great actor.

  • It wouldn't make it too SCOTUS, they'd decline the appeal after lower courts ruled it unconstitutional.

  • Who wants to guess which of the main cast was previously nominated for a Tony?

  • The first security officer left when her relationship with Seth fell apart, and the new main character in Season 3 was sleeping with him.

  • The GOP would never support giving up the seat they stole by doing the right thing.

  • Always has been. He was barely pretending to do his job until Scalia died.

  • I enjoyed it at first, but I think season three was when the balance between comedy and seriousness made it fall apart a bit. Are we doing fart jokes or serious drama here?

Couple that with Seth driving off actors or elevating them to be main cast because he's sleeping with them, and my wife and I just couldn't get in to season 3. Thoroughly enjoyed the previous two light-hearted seasons with a touch of drama and trekiness.

  • Despite all the problems we have in the United States, this would be struck down in court SO fast due to the first amendment to our constitution. The government making a list of speech you are not allowed to hear is pretty much the most cut and dry violation of that.
