Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Try out Voyager, essentially an Apollo clone for Lemmy: vger.app . I’ve been using it for a while and it is basically the same thing and gets updates quite often.

As cool as it is, what if the site they’re using to host goes down, or they move it? Also, if this is to “save paper” it’s way more unnecessary because the paper they used to print the QR code could’ve been used to print the price.

For lots of things I self host that I wanna expose, I’ll just open a random port like 6952 and then reverse proxy w/ nginx on my web server. Not sure how secure it is, but it works
