  • I think its mostly popcorn at this point. The general opinion as I've noticed is that OpenAI is severely failing at living up to what it promised. Nobody particularly gives a shit about the board or Altman except some folks that seem fixated about the honestly unhinged postings of his sister.

  • Oh for sure. We already had complex social relationships that involved lying when we were only homo erectus and likely incapable of speech and were hunting full grown elephants and hippopotami(yeah, simple stone tools against those monsters required some serious teamwork). I think that creating a social face for those you DON'T know, though, had to come about once we were in a situation where there were people we interacted with that we didn't know. Hunter/gatherer societies generally still operated with too much of a cohesion for you to truly be "fake".

  • employee of a third-party authorized retailer

Phone was a trade in. Dunno what the liability looks like here, but I doubt T-Mobile has the lions share of it.

Situations not quite comparable to a franchise since they're obviously operating with customers who are specifically contracted with T-Mobile.

  • Pretty much anywhere you have overhead storage with forklifts, you're going to not have a drop ceiling. Otherwise you'd just have people hitting the damn ceiling with the forklift. They already hit the sprinklers enough.

  • It was beforehand. I'm sure Altman saw as much and wanted to make major spending/funding changes that the board felt was not aligned with what they wanted. The financials on what they're doing look like shit.

  • Actual banning but the federation making it weird is also a thing. Example would be us on Kbin. Folks can get banned from a community but if they're on our instance they can still comment and it'll still show up for us.
