  • The issue was a very simple programming mistake, which is why it was simple to get a patch out quickly. The reason it caused chaos is due to the fact that the software operates at an extremely high level of privilege, enough where even something small can disrupt the entire operating system

  • Please explain how it's stupid. Ansar Allah regularly fires retaliatory strikes after a Western power says the issue with them is handled. The Houthis are also an extremely resilient militant group. The US has been trading blows in this manner with the Houthis since their founding.

  • The Houthi militants love their ironic strikes. As soon as Israel claims the matter is resolved, they'll send another strike. Israel just stepped into something they probably didn't want to.

Edit: sorry y'all, I didn't know we weren't allowed to make an analysis based on the historical actions of terrorists.

  • I'm willing to admit that I also wanted this situation sorted out and handled before now with someone energetic and capable of getting people excited to vote. I've since decided that this is a problem for the Democratic party to handle, not me. Their candidate could be Minnesota's very own dog mayor for all I fucking care.

  • Is it possible that they greeted you nonverbally since they were already in a conversation?

Don't let it get to you. They'll come around if you keep up the positive vibes. You're also new, so you'll be learning the behaviors of people you barely know. It's also possible that these folks are quite friendly, but maintain a strict focus when they aren't taking a break. There are a million different reasons why they didn't verbally respond, so don't take it personally.

The way I greet people at work is a basic "hey" and wave as I walk by, if they don't seem too busy. If they respond I hear it, if they wave I'll hopefully see it, and if they do nothing then I've already walked past them.

  • What if that someone is another toddler that found the gun in the street, and it got in the street because it fell off a truck? Your Honor, what if the toddler had murderous intent because they were denied a sucker?

  • It's literally my job to look at these graphics. Between the 5 projects I've been on (all for the same franchise), the character models, maps, weapon designs, etc all clearly had different studio priorities for art but were consistently good. The problem in my eyes isn't the art, it's management. Art bugs make it through because the release schedule leaves no room to get the fixes out before release.
