Nextcloud all the way. I especially love the calendar, contacts and notes integrations besides the file sync, and it's extensibility in general. Such a powerful tool.

From an idealistical point of view, sure freedom of choice is the way to go.

What makes me nervous is that Safari has been the only big player left besides chrome in regard to usage share on mobile. So while from an idealistical point of view the ban of other engines was certainly a bad thing, it still helped to prevent google from extending its monopoly.

The fact chromium based browser are going to be allowed as well makes me nervous.

I also experience this on LOS, but on an FP3 so RAM could be an issue on my end.

MuPDF Viewer works fine for me. Not very feature rich tho.

Running the AV container is optional, as is using the integrated backup solution. But I can see how that might feel bloated if you don't need it.

With AIO it's almost the same: sudo docker exec -u www-data nextcloud-aio-nextcloud php occ <command>

I decided to go with this one because it's now the official distribution channel and supported by the devs. But the lsio one looks pretty solid as well.

Welcome. I use it in conjunction with Fedora CoreOS so I hopefully never have to manually update anything ever again.

That's been my way as well so far. I'd be interested in how logic helps you cope with questions, such as where do we come from?, where do we go?, what is our purpose?. (Not playing devil's advocate, real interest.)

That's interesting, how did you come to that?

One could as well argue that it's crazy to just "wake up" in some place, having no clue about where we come from and where we go. Constructing some "made up fantasy shit" might be a way to cope with that void.

If it's not your way that's perfectly fine, but I would still appreciate a respectful discussion.

So your way is more accepting the unknown, than filling it with some sort of believe, if I understand it correctly? I'd say that's a take on spirituality as well.
