its a different protocol. the user experienc eis similar to matrix but less polished. its a lot better with meta data and provacy tho, and more performant and less intense on servers, which i like

mm the protocol is better with metadata and privacy.

xmpp sadly doesnt have any great clients, and is missing a lot of comfort features. it got potential tho :33

xmpp is an open direct messaging protocol, that supports decentralized servers. it can be used as a (non feature complete) alternative to discord or matrix. it was bigger in the past but then google hijacked and killed it :< but its still pretty cool and great!!

i've never heard this word and i cant find it on the internet. the german word for raccon is waschbär (washing bear) afaik

actually, the official french word for raccon also seems to be raton laveur (washing) and not voleur (stealing), but i dont speak enough french to know if they are called raton voleur in some dialect or slang
