For fucking decades from now whenever someone gets screwed over by a health insurance company (which happens to probably hundreds of thousands every day) they're going to think of this situation.

It's never legitimate to open your door and immediately pepper spray someone ringing your bell. If you think they're dangerous you could just not open the door or perhaps call the police or any number of other completely normal reactions.
