Bing does potentially have slightly worse results, what with the "personalized" (tracking-based, ad/promoted) results. But yeah.

Ddg is Bing with less tracking. I mean, literally it is Bing.

Yeah, I scoffed at the idea of paying. And paying $10/mo. Then I used it. And I keep using it. A lot. And now0 looks like I'm going to be paying for it for a while.

You know, it occurred to me how rarely we see profiles of the victim in articles like this and it's really refreshing. Almost like non-famous people are people too.

The part that kills me is that Siri was (effectively) first. They had probably 2 years' lead on everyone else. Somehow they squandered that - pretty quickly - fell behind, and in some ways got WORSE. And it's been 12 years.

It's...okay. What is garbage is that after billions of dollars spent, it has barely improved in the last 5 years. In some cases gotten worse.

And don't get me started on Siri.

However, if Alexa/Siri had integrated with ChatGPT instead of Wolfram Alpha and "Amazon contributors" I might feel somewhat different. The info would definitely not be less reliable.

Also it just occurred to me that I don't think I have ever once seen or heard of a woman pilot; either commercial or private. Even in flight classes I've only seen male students or instructors.
