John Oliver stepped up, although not on the Daily Show itself. I'm always excited to have something new ruined for me every week.

Really weird to stumble onto a blog written by someone you vaguely knew in college almost 20 years ago... Anyway, nice job, Ed Zitron.

In that case you tap the card and it pops up to show the text. Still pretty intuitive. I guess if you've never played a deck building game or RPG it could be confusing?

I've always just dragged the cards rather than using successive taps. It's pretty intuitive in my opinion. I would have never thought to call that a virtual mouse...

Deselecting a card without casting it can be a little tricky, but you can usually tap another card or something without causing an issue.

There's no virtual mouse, are you thinking of the wrong game?

Agreed, I gave up on beating gold stake when I would lose most of the runs on the first couple antes. I think it's good to have a brutally difficult mode, I hope they didn't go overboard on easing it up, but it was good to ease up a bit.

Wow, a bunch of these changes make sense, but I'm not sure how I feel about making so many changes to make things easier.

Has Discord ever been remotely profitable though? I can't imagine enough people put money into it that they haven't just been bleeding cash for 10 years. It's hard for me to exactly call it greed if they're just trying to get back to even. I could imagine it being completely enshittified in the name of profit in the future though.
