  • My work phone is one of these I think. The article doesn't really say what, if any implications exist from this radiation. How much electromagnetic radiation could a mobile phone possibly emit?

  • Smaller in general would be, also! Not just narrower. I don't want a skyscraper

  • Didn't the US have an eye drop recall this year because the drops were causing people to go blind?

  • My employer prohibits its use but I am curious how I would use it otherwise.

  • Will this have anything to do with the Unification Church?

  • I would like this also, as someone with limited Internet access.

  • I agree entirely with what you are saying, but that doesn't change what I said about how long people keep the same car. I suspect we are in the midst of the length of ownership increasing, but not to 10-20 years on average.

  • This is a good idea in general; gate hardware usually attaches by going completely through or around to the back side of the structure. Essentially you do not want the structure to hold the gate hardware with tension, you want the structure to hold the hardware with compression.

  • If you really want a long lasting machine, listen to this person. So much nose in this thread. For example: Subarus, in fact, do not have reputation for being long lasting without major repairs. Most people do not keep a vehicle for 10+ years nor for 300k miles. I have a vehicle that is older than that with 30% more miles. As said above, an anecdote.

Somebody keeps track of the cost of ownership over time. Perhaps a company, maybe a government agency.

    Good luck!

  • I will put in another vote for urban planning. Pursuing employment with a city you would like to work for, in any department, will help. Thos will likely get you on the ground experience with not only that particular aspect of the city, but also the culture of employment there.

Additionally, there are usually NGOs in urban areas that provide a variety of services, some of which would benefit from what I perceive your education to be in. Or "delay" yourself and look at international outreach programs that are relevant and meaningful.

  • This is roughly the premise of The Giver butis probably not a new concept as mentioned by others like @ISOmorph

  • Perhaps it is fixed now, I received a response about my submission and how to share it with friends.

  • Perhaps also foreign income due to a bizarre form of tourism for his US based fans?

  • Well that would be interesting, not sure it would be good for Russia 🤷

  • Good question. I'm not sure how truly attached his followers are to him, but if they are really that tied to him and his media ecosystem, I think it would be worse for him to be in Russia. It brings a whole new loyalty into the mix with those folks.

  • So now we will exploit lunar resources? I thought there was some kind of agreement about this.
