My 127% prediction can still be realized. The 400k+ votes from the Ukraine still need to come in. That has some delay as not all registered voters have been identified...

I hear you my internet friend. Add to the fact that republicans want to keep their supporters dumb by further undermining education and it starts to look quite grim. Reforming the current 2 party system and electoral collage would be a common sense thing to do, but I fear this is only wishful thinking. Large corps with infinite money will keep driving the direction of a country and the politicians are just the workforce for them to execute on it. Same goes for the foreign influence (read Putin's clerk boy Trump).

Now more paries does not mean better either. I mean I look at how things go in my country where we have over a dozen parties, ans now 4 of them trying to form a coalition, takes months. And unfortunately also here we are going further to the right and slowly embrace fascism.

I think it got clear in pre-season when they tested this in the simulator. It seems to me that Mercedes really has issues how to deal with the ground effects of the car. I've seen Ferrari also being bouncy (one of Mercedes problems) but are still very quick. Also the back of the Mercedes is not stable they say, which is one of the reasons Lewis in particular lacks the confidence.

He may have jumped ship to Ferrari, but keep in mind that like Verstappen, Leclerc like a loose back and pointy front, which will cause oversteer. So I am not entirely sure what Lewis preference is, but he may have a similar issue when he joins Ferrari.

War economy for the US would for me be like during WW2. 800+ billion a year is basically planned so you can't really call that a war economy.

It's also war economy (Russia) vs non-war economy (Europe/US) which is a big difference. Plus even if you would move into a war economy, to ramp up production will cost time.
