If you're up for ARPGs, something like Titan Quest or Grim Dawn have many hours worth of gameplay.
Worth looking at as well is anything in the Monster Hunter series. World and Rise are both amazing along with their expansions and Wilds just recently released.
All of my recommendations are long-term games with many hours worth of playtime.

Been a while since I've looked honestly. But the fact that they're either hard or impossible to flash with custom ROMs (on top of being expensive) in my experience just means I'll never bother with them.
Hopefully someone else can chime in with more recent experience than me.
Yeah I didn't read it as a negative at all, but thanks for explaining anyway. Never got to the point of seriously trying tmux yet, but I will eventually. I understand it does more than just "tabs in your terminal".
I refuse to buy a Samsung phone or tablet because they're usually overpriced and bloated as hell. But you're right that they're one of the few OEMs actually bothering with Android tablets.
All I want is an Android tablet with good performance that's supported by LineageOS for a few years.
My previous tablet was a POS from Lenovo. Garbage from day one, but it was supported by Lineage for a few years and let me consume media, which was what I wanted it for. Now I'm on the lookout for something else.
Hell, he might end up more coherent.
